Linwu Jumping Dragon Dance

Linwu Jumping Dragon Dance has a history of more than 980 years. It is more than a dragon dance, but a combination of gymnastics and acrobatics, with rich routines, varied skills, unique accompanying music, and wide public participation. It involves many more difficult movements than the common dragon dance.
Dragon dancers need to train frequently, master footwork and strength proficiently, and cooperate with each other tacitly to prevent mistakes and knots during the dance.
In 2014, Linwu Jumping Dragon was included on the representative list of the fourth batch of the municipal intangible cultural heritage items. In 2016, it was included on the representative list of the fourth batch of the provincial intangible cultural heritage items.
